Welcome

This is the newly setup blog to split up the creative process of my film I have up my sleeve for my MA and currently working towards. It will hopefully be updated regulary, the old posts will get updated as the designing of the film continues. As the design stage phase closes, this'll probably have thumbnails, storyboards, animatics and linetests to detail the film coming into existence more and more.
If you look to the right of this text, you'll find a summary of posts of the project carried out so far to date for easy navigation, underneath that is what I've been looking at in order to design the film's look and general inspiration.

Key Scenes # 1: Kids

In this post, I'm going to upload some concept art of key scenes in the film. Some might have already been posted in previous character posts, but that's irreverent. After all this blog is supposed to easily lay out everything for the film so people find it easy to follow, navigate and comprehend.

Starting with possible scenes for Act 1. Here goes.

Boy and girl carrying 'rainbow' in buckets, running through forest with makeshift pole made of tied together mop and broom.

Long gone design of boy carrying rainbow in buckets again with the lake at the background.


Another previous design of boy collecting rainbow in a different method than the lake.


'Rainbowade' stall, inspired by the suburban America idea of kids selling lemonade at small stalls outside their houses, based on the concept of this done in running comic strips such as Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes.
